What is Yoga?

Yoga is essentially a spiritual discipline based on an extremely subtle science, which focuses on bringing harmony between mind and body. It is an art and science of healthy living. The word ‘Yoga’ is derived from the Sanskrit root ‘Yuj’, meaning ‘to join’ or ‘to yoke’ or ‘to unite’.

Yoga is also commonly understood as a therapy or exercise system for health and fitness. While physical and mental health are natural consequences of yoga, the goal of yoga is more far-reaching. "Yoga is about harmonizing oneself with the universe. It is the technology of aligning individual geometry with the cosmic, to achieve the highest level of perception and harmony.” Yoga does not adhere to any particular religion, belief system or community; it has always been approached as a technology for inner wellbeing. Anyone who practices yoga with involvement can reap its benefits, irrespective of one’s faith, ethnicity or culture.

What is the Aurora Borealis

The Italian astronomer Galileo Galilei coined the name "Aurora Borealis" in 1619 — after the Roman goddess of dawn, Aurora, and the Greek god of the north wind, Boreas. The Northern Lights, or the Aurora Borealis, are beautiful dancing waves of light that have captivated people for millennia.

The Aurora occurs when energized particles from the sun slam into the Earth's upper atmosphere via solar winds at speeds of up to 45 million mph, luckily, our Earth's magnetic field protects us from the onslaught. As the Earth's magnetic field directs the charged particles toward the North and South Poles of the Earth - the dramatic light show known as the Northern Lights ensues.

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the practice of being present in the moment and fully engaged in the present experience without judgment. It can help reduce stress and improve overall well-being.

What Is Aromatherapy?

Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils to promote physical and emotional well-being. It can be used to help alleviate stress, improve mood, and promote relaxation.
